TASTING NOTES: Lager beer from Menorca with a golden and transparent colour and a creamy white head. The clean and pleasant fermentation profile gives prominence to the main malt aromas where we find bread, cereal, malty sweetness and breadcrumbs.
In the mouth we find a medium body where the sweet tastes of the malts are balanced by the slight bitterness provided by the hops, rounding off a beer with character but with the classic smoothness of a Lager.

The Munich Helles style was born in the city of Munich in 1894, created by the Spaten brewery to compete with the Czech Pilsners that were gaining popularity at the time for their easy drinkability. The aim of these brewers was to create a clear beer like the Czech Pilsner or the German imitations of that time but giving prominence to the balance between malts and bitterness without the predominance of hop character.
This is a clean, golden beer with a sweet malty flavour and a smooth, dry finish. The hops stand out subtly with floral and herbaceous hints typical of German noble hops with a restrained bitterness that helps maintain balance with the moderate malt sweetness. The result is a refreshing beer for everyday drinking.
